Guests of the entire Bachgut enjoy fresh mountain spring water from the resort’s four water springs. The springs were gradually connected and are located between altitudes of 1,600 and 1,780 m. The distributed water is stored in a high-level tank made from premium-quality stainless steel that is suitable for drinking water.
Extension into the valley
Up to the year 2010 the spring water only served to supply the alpine huts of the Bachgut. While building the chalets the Langegger-Kröll family decided to build a water pipe from the spring to the chalets in the valley. This investment paid off as it resulted in full water supply for the entire resort. Both water containers have a capacity of 30,000 litres each. You can taste the freshness of water that comes directly from the spring. It wakes you up again and reinvigorates body and mind – just one more piece of the puzzle that is environmentally friendly travel to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
